With the announcement of the new Galaxy tablet, Samsang Electronics hopes to earn a lot of revenue from it. But will it keep up with competing rival Apple iPad?
Rather than selling Galaxy Tab directly to consumers, Samsang electronics will rely on companies that run Google’s Android Software.
Galaxy Tab features a seven-inch screen and will be launched initially in Italy and later move around the world including the US once Samsang close deals with wireless carriers.
Pricing of the tablet will rely on the carrier and it is estimated that the tab could cost somewhere between $200 and $300.Galaxy tab rival iPad sold over 3 million units and is controlling the minicomputer arena for the moment but the question is; Will Galaxy tab keep up with the competition? Ipad has all the advantages which include a larger screen (9.7-inch) and already built applications in the apps store among others.
